CED 101: Fundamentals of Economic Development will aim to provide you with a model of how to understand basic economic activity in your community; increase your understanding of the potential scope of economic development activity; provide tools and resources to help you in your economic development efforts; and identify potential roles for your municipality in economic development.

CED 102: Community Economic Development in Practice will aim to teach you how to use OMAFRA's Community Economic Analysis Tools; guide you through a SWOT analysis session; facilitate an Economic Development Activity Matrix imput session to help participants gain insight into the range of economic development activity currently underway at the County level and possibly identify gaps or opportunities for collaboration that can enhance the community's economic development strategy; and review the next steps to complete the development of an Economic Development Strategy for your municipality.
