Showcase Opportunity for Local Artists and Artisans


The Community Futures Development Corporation of Eastern Ontario is offering support for artists and artisans in rural Eastern Ontario to display and sell their work at the Spring 2009 One of a Kind Show and Sale, in Toronto.

Held at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place from April 1 to April 5 2009, the One of a Kind Show is Canada's largest and most prestigious retail show featuring the work of artists and artisans from across Canada.

Twenty-four artists and artisans from rural Eastern Ontario working in the areas of visual art, craft, photography, fashion design, artisanal food and more will be featured in a special Eastern Ontario Artists Marketplace within the One of a Kind Show.

Support for artists/artisans will include the cost fo entry to the show, the cost of constructing a display booth, mentoring on booth design and market readiness, inclusion in a special website promoting the Marketplace as well as the One of the Kind website and production of marketing materials for use at the show.
