Mitchell Wilkie, MIM, SBCC, CMMIII

 

Mitchell Wilkie is Manager Of Economic Development Services for the County of Renfrew, which also includes the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association (OVTA) and Enterprise Renfrew County (ERC). Mitchell has a wide variety of international business experience that includes over 15-years of engineering and economic development project management in Asian, Central and South American nations, and Eastern European nations of the former Soviet Union. Mitchell is particularly well informed and connected with China. Prior to coming to the Ottawa Valley in 2003, he was the Vice President of TRAK Energy Corporation (Burlington; Kelowna), which specializes in geothermal and geoexchange systems. Mitchell holds a Master of International Management degree (University of St. Thomas - USA) and is an internationally Certified Small Business Counsellor and Certified Municipal Manager. In addition to having taught numerous college and university courses related to international business, Mitchell has written, co-authored, and published 21 books on various entrepreneurship topics.
