A unique tourism conference was held to showcase the many natural attractions of the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario. Beyond the City Lights is a forum for tourist operators to gain valuable insight into effective marketing techniques to increase their visibility in a very competitive industry.
The conference was held on October 4, 2005 at Calabogie Peaks Resort. The conference featured marketing professionals and government representatives who provided resources, tools, education, and training for rural businesses to be more successful and to generate dollars within the tourism industry. |
