Community Economic Development (CED)

Community Economic Development (CED) is a long-term, inclusive and comprehensive planning and management process whereby communities take responsibility for influencing the economic aspects of their own future well-being. At the root of CED is the development of human capital, businesses, institutions and other assets to develop individual and organizational capacity to purposefully influence and participate in the local economy.

The following CED projects address local needs and priorities and result in long term benefits including job creation and economic diversification for Renfrew County.
