Paul Portelli


Paul Portelli is an accomplished sculptor and businessman who until recently operated the Portelli Gallery in Warkworth, Ontario for 22 years. Paul's commitment to the community was pivotal in assisting the Village of Warkworth to develop a downtown business and cultural district, playing a leadership role as the Chair of the Advertising Committee specifically working towards branding the award winning community.

 

Paul has extensive experience in teaching and speaking on visual merchandising, consumer behaviour, collaborative marketing, creative processes and market readiness for artists and retailers throughout Ontario.  Paul has a Seneca College diploma in Visual Merchandising, Business Procedures and Arts and is a former student of both the Ontario College of Art and Haliburton School of the Arts.  He is the author of articles on trends in design and visual merchandising in many Canadian publications, such as Crafts Plus, Style and Men's Wear Canada and has made regular guest appearances on television shows, Cityline, Craftscape and Savoir Faire.
